Nollywood Actor Baba Johunomi Reveals Cancer Battle

Musiliu Dasofunjo, a veteran Nollywood actor popularly known as Baba Johunomi, disclosed that he is currently battling prostate cancer. In a video shared on Facebook by fellow actor Kunle Afod, he emphasized the importance of recognizing health changes and seeking medical attention early.

Dasofunjo recounted that his health issues began with an unusual change in his urination pattern, which he initially overlooked. He experienced a splitting urine stream and later faced difficulties in urination, prompting him to seek medical help.

After undergoing various tests and scans, he was referred to the University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan, where specialists suggested further invasive testing. Dasofunjo expressed that his situation could have been different had he recognized the symptoms earlier.

His announcement comes shortly after the death of Taiwo Hassan, known as Ogogo, who reportedly passed away after a battle with cancer.
