PENGASSAN Ends Strike After Agreement with Dangote Group - Key Details Revealed

PENGASSAN has suspended its strike after reaching an agreement with Dangote Group. The decision follows the willingness of Dangote to unionize and recall the 800 refinery workers recently dismissed.

PENGASSAN's President, Festus Osifo, announced the suspension to allow the reinstatement process to proceed smoothly. The National Executive Council of PENGASSAN resolved to halt the strike after the federal government's intervention.

Labour Minister, Maigari Dingyadi, confirmed that Dangote will reinstate the affected staff without loss of pay or victimization. The agreement was reached during a meeting that included top government officials.
