US Commits $2.1bn to Boost Christian Healthcare in Nigeria

The US commits $2.1bn to enhance Nigeria's Christian healthcare facilities over five years, emphasizing services like HIV, TB, malaria, maternal and child health, and polio prevention. The agreement requires Nigeria to increase its domestic health spending by nearly $3bn.

Thomas Pigott from the US Department of State highlighted this as the largest co-investment under America's global health strategy, with a significant focus on Christian faith-based healthcare providers in Nigeria.
