ValueJet to Launch Lagos-Accra Flights on March 30, 2026

Nigerian carrier ValueJet will begin direct flight operations from Lagos to Accra on March 30, 2026. This marks a significant milestone in the airline's regional expansion strategy.

The inaugural flight will depart from the new terminal at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos in the morning, with return flights scheduled for the same time from Accra. Passengers can book tickets through the airline's official website.

This new route follows the successful launch of ValueJet's first international service to Banjul, Gambia, and is part of a broader strategy to strengthen its presence across West Africa. Omololu Majekodunmi, the Managing Director, described the Accra route as a key component of the airline's vision to improve connectivity along the West African corridor.

The new service is expected to enhance economic and cultural ties between Nigeria and Ghana, boost tourism, and support business travel. ValueJet has recently added CRJ 1000 aircraft to its fleet to enhance regional domestic services and ensure a reliable travel experience.
