Davido Responds to Resurfaced Prayer Amid VDM Feud

A 2025 video featuring Verydarkman's mother praying for Davido has resurfaced, coinciding with the ongoing feud between the singer and the activist. In the video, she earnestly prayed for Davido, asking for God's protection over his career and safe return.

Davido responded to the resurfaced clip by suggesting that the prayer was yielding results, pointing to VDM's continued existence as evidence. He acknowledged that the nature of his work attracts many enemies.

The timing of the video's resurgence has led to humorous reactions from Nigerians online, who have drawn connections between the mother's prayers and her son's current troubles. Earlier reports indicated that a criminal case against VDM had been dismissed due to insufficient evidence regarding impersonation charges after he appeared in a police uniform in one of his videos.

VDM expressed excitement over this ruling, calling it a significant victory after nearly two years of legal challenges.
