VeryDarkMan Leads Peaceful Protest in Anambra Over Insecurity, Killing of Fish Magnet CEO

Nigerian activist and social media influencer VeryDarkMan led a peaceful protest in Anambra's capital, Awka, to address the growing insecurity in the state following the recent kidnapping and killing of Fish Magnet CEO, Martins Onyekere. Thousands of youth dressed in black joined the protest, demanding justice for the slain entrepreneur and highlighting the rising violence in the region.

The Anambra State Police Command issued a warning to the activist, urging them to avoid actions that could disturb public order. Despite this, the protest remained peaceful and orderly, with official security representatives, including the police spokesperson and the Special Adviser to Governor Chukwuma Soludo, joining the march.

The police commissioner emphasized the importance of maintaining law and order while encouraging residents and visitors to carry out their lawful duties without fear. The protest continued as of the time of the report.
