Verydarkman Analyzes Natasha Akpoti's Controversial Audio

Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman VDM, responded to two leaked voice recordings that have created a stir in Nigerian political circles, particularly one involving Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan. The recordings were released by a woman named Sandra Duru on September 20, 2026.

In the clip attributed to Akpoti-Uduaghan, she allegedly directed a media contact to publish a story framing Senate President Akpabio as blackmailing the president into "sacrificing" her. VDM noted that the senator's voice insisted the story must be published by the 27th but should not appear on a specific platform first.

He expressed surprise at the content, stating it was unexpected and unsettling. VDM also cautioned against dismissing the recordings as AI fabrications, suggesting that if Akpoti-Uduaghan's team claimed her clip was AI-generated, the same logic would apply to Akpabio's recording, which he deemed more damaging.

He recalled Akpoti-Uduaghan's previous suspension from the Senate in 2025 due to a clash with Akpabio, which she had taken to the United Nations, and suggested that the leaked audio changes the context of her earlier claims.
