Osimhen Shines with Two Goals in Galatasaray Derby Win

Victor Osimhen played a pivotal role in Galatasaray's 2-1 victory over Fenerbahce in the Istanbul Intercontinental Derby. He opened the scoring in the 29th minute with a left-footed shot after receiving a pass from Baris Yilmaz.

Osimhen scored again just before halftime with a header, giving Galatasaray a 2-0 lead. Fenerbahce responded in the 62nd minute with a goal from Irfan Kahveci, but Galatasaray held on to secure all three points, maintaining their position at the top of the Turkish Süper Lig with 22 points from nine matches.

Osimhen's two goals brought him level with compatriot Gift Orban at the top of the league's scoring chart, both having eight goals. The match ended in controversy as a mass brawl broke out between players and staff from both clubs, with notable incidents involving Kerem Akturkoglu and Matteo Guendouzi.

Stadium security was called to separate the parties involved.
