Oyo School Principal Pleads for Help After Abduction

A principal from a secondary school in Esinl Community, Oriire Local Government Area, Oyo State, identified as Mr. Alamu, has made an emotional plea for help after being abducted along with several staff members and students by unknown gunmen.

The incident occurred on Friday around 9:30 AM. In a viral video, she appeals to the federal government, the Oyo State government, and the Christian Association of Nigeria for urgent intervention to secure their release.

She expresses concern for the safety of the abducted individuals, particularly the children, and emphasizes the dire conditions they are facing in captivity. The Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ayanlad Olayinka, has acknowledged the viral video but stated that the authenticity of the primary source could not be independently verified at the time of reporting.

The incident has triggered widespread concern and calls for immediate action to rescue the victims.
