Aregbesola Reveals Living in Friend's House as Governor

Rauf Aregbesola, the National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and former governor of Osun State from 2010 to 2018, disclosed in a video that he lived in a friend's house throughout his eight-year tenure, asserting he never owned a personal residence while in office. Aregbesola stated, “I’m the first governor in Nigeria to rule a state for eight years without owning a house of my own,” challenging anyone who doubts his claim to provide evidence of any house he owns.

He reflected on his administration's priorities, which included reducing poverty, hunger, and unemployment, while also focusing on healthy living, functional education, communal peace, and overall development across Osun State.
