Oluremi Tinubu Advocates for Modesty in Young Girls

Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of Nigeria, called on women to actively mentor young girls in modesty and decent dressing during an interfaith event held in Abuja. In a trending video clip, she highlighted the need for women to guide girls, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, by instilling strong values and providing mentorship.

Tinubu challenged women to take responsibility for mentoring at least one girl from an indigent background, emphasizing that mentorship should not be a one-time act but a continuous effort to pour life into these young girls. She mentioned various forms of mentorship, including providing scholarships and moral guidance.

Additionally, she stressed the importance of teaching good virtues and modest dressing, asserting that beauty is not defined by revealing clothing. Tinubu also urged men to exercise restraint, noting that true beauty comes from within.
