Oyo ADC Candidate Taofeek Adegoke Distributes Corn

Taofeek Adegoke, the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Oyo State, gained attention after a video of him distributing boiled corn to supporters went viral on social media. In the video, Adegoke is seen standing beside a pot of boiled corn, personally handing it to supporters who gathered around him.

The supporters eagerly reached out to receive the corn directly from Adegoke, chanting slogans and referring to him as “Mr Governor.” Many expressed that the gesture was a blessing, highlighting Adegoke's humility and willingness to engage with the public. This event occurred about a month after Nigerian businessman and philanthropist Tony Elumelu was also featured in a viral video buying roasted corn from a roadside vendor.
