INEC Confirms Adegoke as ADC Governorship Candidate in Oyo

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) confirmed Olooye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke as the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Oyo State for the upcoming 2027 elections. This confirmation was made through the posting of Adegoke's Form EC9 on Saturday midnight.

The display of candidates' names is part of INEC's timetable for the 2027 general elections, which includes governorship elections scheduled for February 6, 2027, across Oyo and 27 other states. The Media Team of Olooye Adegoke stated that there was no doubt about his candidacy, emphasizing that he emerged as the ADC candidate after successfully going through the party's primaries supervised by INEC.

They urged other aspirants to respect the party's decision and INEC's position. The ADC expressed its commitment to providing credible leadership and governance in Oyo State, highlighting Adegoke's leadership qualities and experience.
