Obi and Kwankwaso Meet at NDC HQ Amid Political Challenges

Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State and presidential candidate for the Labour Party, and Musa Kwankwaso, the former governor of Kano State and presidential candidate for the New Nigeria Peoples Party, arrived at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) headquarters in Abuja amid cheers from supporters. The two leaders are expected to hold a consultation meeting with NDC leaders.

Obi described the current political climate as hostile and discouraging, noting that even within political alliances, individuals sometimes face unexpected opposition and criticism. He clarified that his decision to leave the African Democratic Congress was not influenced by personal issues involving party leaders, including David Mark and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

Obi reaffirmed his belief in leadership and service, stressing the need to improve security and economic conditions for citizens' welfare.
