Shehu Sani: Fulani Terrorists and Bandits in Nigeria Are Predominantly from the North

Former Senator Shehu Sani raised concerns about the origin of terrorists and bandits in Nigeria, stating that they are mostly Fulanis from the North. He emphasized the need for Northern leaders to take responsibility for addressing the security crisis in the region.

Sani pointed out that the situation in the North West mirrors patterns seen in other African countries like Mali, Morocco, and Guinea. He urged a direct approach to resolving the security challenges and emphasized the importance of accurate intelligence gathering.

Sani also noted the smaller number of active terrorists and bandits compared to the total estimated figure.
