Vitapur Nigeria Launches Innovation Hub for Sustainable Household Products

Vitapur Nigeria Limited, a subsidiary of Vitafoam Nigeria Plc, has launched an innovation hub aimed at revolutionizing household products through sustainable manufacturing practices. Supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the initiative focuses on producing polyurethane rigid foam to promote eco-friendly solutions in the industry.

The Minister of Environment, Balarabe Abbas, emphasized the project's alignment with sustainable development goals and highlighted the upgrade of Vitapur's manufacturing systems. The innovation hub will introduce advanced equipment and alternative materials to enhance the production of rigid polyurethane foam, contributing to a more environmentally friendly approach in the manufacturing sector.
