APC Chairman Okocha Addresses Voter Apathy in Nigerian Elections

Okocha noted the low voter turnout during the local government election in Rumuigbo, Rivers State, despite expectations of infrastructural development projects.

He described the election process as seamless but expressed concern over the lack of participation, especially from opposition parties. The election was largely peaceful, with notable figures like the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory and the Speaker of the State House of Assembly present.
