Shettima Calls for Unity and Sacrifice on Eid-el-Kabir

On the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, Vice President Kashim Shettima called on Nigerians to embrace national unity and shared sacrifice. He highlighted that the lessons of Eid-el-Kabir are vital for Nigeria's quest for stability, peace, and inclusive growth.

Shettima urged citizens to draw inspiration from the values of faith, sacrifice, and obedience exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim, emphasizing the need for sober reflection during this season. He stressed that the nation cannot thrive in an atmosphere of division and mistrust, urging Nigerians to rise above ethnic, religious, and political differences to confront common challenges.

Shettima reiterated the commitment of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration to address insecurity, stabilize the economy, create jobs, and expand opportunities for citizens. He appealed for continued support for the President's reform agenda, stating that shared sacrifice is essential to overcome insecurity and poverty.
