Kaduna Leaders Urge Sacrifice and Unity for Eid-el-Kabir

During the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations, Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani and former Governor Ahmed Makarfi called on Nigerians to embrace the virtues of sacrifice and unity. Governor Sani described Eid-el-Kabir as a season of profound spirituality that reflects gratitude to Allah and emphasizes obedience, as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.

He urged citizens to support the vulnerable and extend kindness during challenging economic times. Sani reaffirmed his administration's commitment to justice, inclusivity, and peaceful coexistence.

Makarfi echoed these sentiments, reminding Nigerians of the lessons of sacrifice and obedience inherent in Eid-el-Kabir, which commemorates Prophet Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his son in obedience to God's command. He encouraged a sober reflection on peace, security, and prosperity for the nation.

Both leaders congratulated Nigerian pilgrims who participated in this year's Hajj in Saudi Arabia and called for prayers for continued peace and development in the country.
