Shettima Calls for Unity and Sacrifice During Eid al-Adha

On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, Vice President Kashim Shettima called on Nigerians to embrace national unity and shared sacrifice. He highlighted that the lessons from Eid el-Kabir are crucial for Nigeria's pursuit of stability, peace, and inclusive growth.

Shettima urged citizens to draw inspiration from the values of faith and sacrifice exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim. He stressed that national development cannot flourish in an atmosphere of division and mistrust, urging Nigerians to rise above ethnic, religious, and political differences to confront common challenges.

Shettima noted that the administration of President Bola Tinubu is committed to addressing insecurity, stabilizing the economy, creating jobs, and expanding opportunities for citizens across the country. He appealed for continued support for the President's reform agenda, emphasizing that shared sacrifice is essential to overcoming insecurity and poverty.

Shettima commended the sacrifices made by members of the armed forces and security agencies in restoring peace and security across Nigeria.
