Shettima's Wife Advocates for Responsible Leadership

Amina Moham, the wife of Nigeria's Vice President Kashim Shettima, called on Nigerians to embrace responsible leadership, emphasizing that transformation begins at the family level. This statement was made during the 19th annual national conference of women in Lafia, Nasarawa State, where she represented Barrister Abdulsalam Moham, Special Assistant to the Vice President.

Moham highlighted the essential role women play in national development and the need for ethical leadership. She reminded Muslim women that societal transformation starts within the home and stressed the importance of instilling values such as integrity and empathy in children to shape future leaders.

Additionally, she commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration for promoting economic stability and improving national security through the Renewed Hope Initiative, which empowers women. Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule also spoke at the event, reaffirming his administration's commitment to transparency and good governance, while Professor Muhammad Tanko Baitullah delivered a lecture on the significance of ethical leadership.
