Shettima's Re-nomination Reflects Loyalty and Capacity

Barr. Abdulsalam Mohammed, a special assistant in the office of the Vice President, spoke at an event in Maiduguri, Borno State, where he described the re-nomination of Vice President Kashim Shettima by the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 general elections as a reflection of loyalty and leadership capacity.

The event, themed "Borno's Pride, Nation's Trust," was part of a civic reception aimed at sensitizing voters. Mohammed noted that Shettima's emergence for a second term demonstrates the confidence President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC have in him.

He highlighted Shettima's dedication to national development and his unwavering loyalty. The event also served to encourage eligible Nigerians to participate in the ongoing voter registration exercise, with Mohammed urging community leaders and youth groups to mobilize citizens to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).

Governor Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum attended the event, which aimed to secure six million votes for the Tinubu-Shettima ticket in the upcoming elections.
