WAEC Urges Schools in Rivers State to Prepare for 2026 Examinations

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has advised schools in Rivers State to equip their Internet Computer Technology (ICT) centers ahead of the 2026 examinations. The WAEC Zonal Coordinator in Port Harcourt emphasized the importance of preparing for the smooth conduct of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination in 2026.

The council highlighted the need for schools to adapt to the new examination format and provided guidelines for meeting WAEC requirements. The sensitization program organized in partnership with private entities aims to ensure a successful transition to the new examination system.

Schools are urged to prioritize infrastructure and equipment to facilitate the examination process effectively.
