Super Falcons Camp Grows to 23 Players Ahead of WAFCON

The Super Falcons’ camp in Casablanca has increased to 23 players following the arrival of forward Folashade Ijamilusi on Tuesday. Ijamilusi, who is currently with Chinese club Liaoning Shenyang Shenbei Hefeng, landed in Casablanca on Tuesday afternoon to join the squad led by coach Justine Madugu in preparation for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

Ijamilusi previously made a significant impact during the Super Falcons’ successful WAFCON campaign, where she scored twice, including a crucial equaliser in Nigeria’s dramatic 3-2 comeback victory against Morocco in the final. Her addition to the team is expected to bolster their chances in the upcoming tournament.
