Super Falcons to Face Cameroon in WAFCON 2026 Friendlies

The Super Falcons, Nigeria's national women's football team, are set to face the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon in a double-header friendly series as part of their preparations for the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON). The matches will take place in Yaoundé, Cameroon, with the first match scheduled for Saturday, February 28, 2024, and the second match on Tuesday, March 3, 2024.

Justin Madugu is the current coach of the Super Falcons. These friendlies are part of the team's strategy to prepare for the WAFCON 2024 final, which will be hosted in Côte d'Ivoire.

Additionally, the Super Falcons will participate in the WAFU B Invitational Tournament, which includes teams from Senegal, Ghana, Malawi, Zambia, and Egypt, as they aim to defend their championship title.
