Walson-Jack Urges Directors to Enhance Civil Service Reforms

During a recognition dinner held in Abuja, Didi Esther Walson-Jack, the head of the Federal Civil Service, urged the 338 newly promoted directors to consolidate ongoing reforms and ensure the delivery of tangible results across the service. She emphasized the strategic role of directors in bridging policy formulation and implementation.

Walson-Jack highlighted the need to uphold the gains of the Federal Civil Service Strategic Implementation Plan (FCSSIP25) and deepen digital efforts to improve service delivery in Nigeria. She noted the importance of reinforcing a culture of excellence within the service.

Prof. Tunji Olaopa, Chairman of the Federal Civil Service Commission, commended the leadership of the civil service and the successful navigation of the Computer-Based Test (CBT) promotion system, which recorded nearly 100% success, demonstrating a new benchmark in transparency and efficiency.

Dr. Usman Garba opened the ceremony, emphasizing the responsibilities of leadership in public service.
