WASSCE Technical Glitch: List of 4 Subjects Mentioned as WAEC Suspends Access to Results

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has suspended access to the 2025 WASSCE results for school candidates due to a technical glitch in their new result processing system. The council explained that the issue was linked to the recently adopted result release procedure involving paper serialisation.

As a result, access to results for four major subjects has been temporarily withdrawn. WAEC assured candidates that the problem would be resolved promptly and transparently, allowing for corrections to be made.

Candidates who have already viewed their results are advised to check back after 24 hours. This suspension comes after the council faced criticism for temporarily shutting down the result checker portal earlier in the year due to technical issues affecting result accuracy.

Candidates are reminded to check their results using their personal devices and not to rely on third-party services.
