Comfort Emmanson, a passenger on an Ibom Air flight from Uyo to Lagos, was involved in a dramatic incident where she allegedly assaulted airline crew members and airport security personnel. The altercation began when Emmanson refused to switch off her mobile phone as instructed, leading to a confrontation upon landing in Lagos.

Emmanson reportedly attacked a crew member, tore off her wig, removed her glasses, and even attempted to use a fire extinguisher as a weapon. Airport security had to intervene, but Emmanson continued her violent outburst, assaulting both Ibom Air and Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) staff.

She was eventually arrested, charged, and remanded in Kirikiri Maximum Security Prison. Ibom Air confirmed that Emmanson has been permanently banned from traveling with them.

The incident was captured on video and has since gone viral online.
