Waziri Of Bauchi, Kari Emerges Chairman Of Sa’adu Zungur Foundation

Alhaji Muhammad Kari Waziri, the former managing director of NICON Insurance, has been elected as the new chairman of the Sa’adu Zungur Foundation Board of Trustees (BoT). The announcement was confirmed by foundation spokesperson Adamu Muhammad Hamid in Bauchi.

The BoT executive meeting elected Waziri to lead the foundation in steering its governance and strategic direction. Hamid emphasized that the new chairman's responsibilities include setting the agenda for board meetings, presiding over deliberations, and ensuring effective operations.

The BoT also announced the creation of standing committees to enhance the foundation's structure and achieve its goals. These committees will focus on education, vocational training, scholarship, commerce, research, health, social development, and more.

The goal is to strengthen the foundation's operational structure and enable it to effectively deliver on its mandate.
