Renew Hope Advocacy Backs Tinubu's 2027 Re-election Bid

Mayowa Alakija, the coordinator of Renew Hope Advocacy in Oshodi Local Government Area, Lagos State, affirmed the group's commitment to the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 general elections. Alakija highlighted the importance of engaging the public to raise awareness about the positive impacts of Tinubu's policies, despite differing opinions on his achievements.

He noted that the group aims to mobilize at least 100,000 votes from Oshodi, which has over 180,000 registered voters. Alakija emphasized the need to tackle voter apathy and improve turnout, particularly among youth and women.

He mentioned that the group will implement strategies to educate voters on the electoral process and the significance of their participation. Alakija also pointed out the economic challenges inherited by Tinubu and the necessity for a unique approach to governance that addresses public concerns effectively.
