Iru-Victoria Island LCDA Chair Endorses Tinubu's Agenda

On April 23, 2026, Hon. Aminat Oluwakemi Alabi, the Executive Chairman of Iru-Victoria Island Local Council Development Area (LCDA), officially partnered with the Arewa Group to endorse President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda in preparation for the 2027 general elections. During her visit to the southwest Arewa community, Alabi praised the group's support for Tinubu's administration and its economic agenda.

She unveiled a pro-Tinubu mobilization structure aimed at engaging the community in the upcoming elections. Alhaji Shehu Usman Sampam, the Director General of the movement, noted significant progress in sensitizing the campaign across the southwest, particularly within the Arewa community, and emphasized the goal of delivering millions of votes in support of Tinubu's second term.

The partnership reflects a commitment to cultural inclusivity in political practices, as highlighted by the appointment of Arewa indigen Babagana Pulka as a supervisory councillor in the LCDA.
