ADC spokesman Bolaji Abdullahi clarified that the party does not feel intimidated by what they term "unlawful whistles." He stated that the ADC has not lost its way but has chosen not to heed what they consider illegitimate statements.

Abdullahi used the metaphor of a hunter and a forest to illustrate that the ADC operates within the bounds of the law and will not be deterred by political attacks.
