Abia Police Arrest 809 Suspects, Recover 88 Arms in 2025

The Abia State Police Commissioner, Danladi Isa, announced the arrest of 809 crime suspects and recovery of 88 arms in 2025. The police command successfully prosecuted 200 suspects in court, with 33 children rescued from trafficking.

The state's crime rate has reduced significantly, attributed to the support from Governor Alex Otti and community stakeholders. The Commissioner highlighted the importance of credible information from residents to further combat crime.
