Kalu Assures APC Success for Tinubu in 2027 Elections

During a pre-congress meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State, Deputy Speaker Benjamin Okezie Kalu assured party stakeholders of their capability to deliver votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections. Kalu emphasized the importance of adopting Tinubu as the sole candidate for the presidential polls, stating that the party has established structures at ward and local government levels to ensure success.

He reported a significant membership registration of 160,000 in Abia, expressing optimism that the number could exceed one million by the election. Kalu urged unity among party members, dismissing factionalism and emphasizing collective efforts to achieve their electoral goals.

The meeting also saw support from former Senator Nkechi Nwaogu and other APC members, who unanimously endorsed Kalu's leadership role in the party as they prepare for the upcoming elections.
