Abia State Pledges Support for Tinubu in 2027 Elections

During the All Progressives Congress (APC) congress held in Umuahia, Abia State, Deputy Speaker Rt. Hon.

Benjamin Okezie Kalu expressed the state's readiness to deliver significant votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 elections. Kalu, representing the Bende Federal Constituency, highlighted the importance of unity within the party and the necessity of supporting the leadership of Tinubu, whom he described as a true democrat.

He assured that Abia State would provide a substantial mandate, emphasizing that the party's focus would be on harmonizing efforts to strengthen its structure. Kalu also mentioned the goal of registering at least 500,000 members in Abia APC.

The congress produced Hon. Chijiok Chukwu as the new chairman, who expressed gratitude to party stakeholders and pledged to work towards winning elections at all levels.

Emmanuel Goar, commended the congress's resolutions and the leadership qualities of Kalu.
