Cameroon Coach Regrets Loss to Nigeria's Super Falcons

In a friendly match held on Tuesday in Yaoundé, Cameroon’s national women’s football team, coached by Mike Ndoumou, suffered a 3-1 defeat against Nigeria's Super Falcons. Cameroon initially took the lead with a goal from Christian, but Nigeria quickly equalized through Chiwendu Ihezuo.

The match saw Nigeria's Omorinsola Babajid and Michel Alozi complete a turnaround with clinical finishes, showcasing their superior movement and urgency. Post-match, Ndoumou admitted that his side lost control of the game after a promising start.

Nigeria's head coach, Justin Madugu, emphasized the team's sharper performance, which capitalized on errors in the Cameroonian defense. The Super Falcons are now focusing on preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
