Tinubu Directs New Ambassadors to Boost Nigeria's Global Image

President Bola Tinubu has given a directive to newly appointed ambassadors to actively work towards delivering results that will enhance Nigeria's global standing. During an address at the Federal Secretariat, Tinubu emphasized the need for ambassadors to adopt proactive strategies to tell Nigeria's story credibly, attract investments, strengthen trade, and protect Nigerians living abroad.

The meeting took place on a Monday, and Tinubu's remarks were shared by Georg Akum, who is associated with the ambassadors. In a related political context, former presidential aspirant Osifo from the All Progressives Congress (APC) announced plans to purchase the party's nomination form for 100 million naira ahead of the primaries.

This announcement came amid a wave of endorsements for Tinubu within the party, with 22 APC governors backing him as the sole candidate for the 2027 elections, despite Osifo's insistence that endorsements do not automatically determine the party's flagbearer.
