Peter Obi Discusses Kano's Economic Revival with Kwankwaso

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, visited Kano to meet with former New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) presidential candidate Rabiu Kwankwaso. The meeting took place on a Sunday during the annual Kwankwassiya Sallah festival, which was attended by prominent figures including Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, Bayelsa State Senator Seriake Dickson, and activist Naajatu.

Obi stated that the purpose of his visit was not political but focused on celebrating the festival and showing respect for Kwankwaso. He revealed plans to change Kano by revitalizing its economy and industrial power.

The meeting sparked discussions about potential political realignments ahead of the 2027 elections in Nigeria, highlighting the importance of collaboration among leaders in Kano.
