Delta Governor Oborevwori Reaffirms Support for Julius Berger

Delta State Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori announced the administration's ongoing commitment to awarding construction projects to Julius Berger Nigeria PLC as part of efforts to create jobs and accelerate infrastructure development across the state.

Speaking at a construction site in Osubi, Okpe Local Government Area, he acknowledged the economic hardships and unemployment challenges facing families, particularly the youth, and stressed the need for government intervention to improve livelihoods. Governor Oborevwori commended the workers and contractors for their dedication to community development and reiterated the administration's resolve to partner with Julius Berger on critical projects aimed at enhancing employment and infrastructure in Warri and Effurun.

He disclosed that the reconstruction of the Effurun Roundabout and NPA Axis has already been awarded to Julius Berger, aligning with the administration's plans for modern infrastructure in the metropolitan area. Additionally, he revealed the completion of the Warri-Od Itsekiri Road Bridge project, which will be inaugurated upon completion, and emphasized the importance of ongoing projects for the welfare of the people.
