Kwara Teachers Protest Exclusion from Salary Increment, Cite Economic Hardships

The NUT leadership distanced itself from the protest, emphasizing a merit-based recruitment process by the Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), which recently disqualified eight teachers for testing positive for banned substances during mandatory screening.
