Peter Obi Visits Anambra Prison, Encourages Inmates' Education and Skill Acquisition

Former Anambra Governor, Peter Obi, visited Anambra Corrective Centre in Amawbia to inspire inmates to see their current circumstances as opportunities for personal reform and societal reintegration. During the visit, he encouraged inmates to acquire education and relevant skills for a meaningful contribution to national development.

Obi also undertook to cover NECO examination fees for eligible candidates across four correctional centers in Anambra State, totaling 4,741,400 Naira. This gesture aimed to support inmates in their educational pursuits and facilitate their successful reintegration into society.
