Ex-Chief of Staff Gambari Reveals Buhari's Regret Over Insecurity Challenges

Former Chief of Staff to ex-President Ibrahim Gambari disclosed on a TV appearance that one of the major regrets of former Nigerian leader Buhari was his administration's failure to effectively address the country's security issues, particularly the ongoing banditry and violent attacks in the North-West and North-Central regions. Despite Buhari's efforts against Boko Haram, insecurity still lingers in the country.

Gambari also addressed rumors of a coup at the end of Buhari's administration, denying claims that the Ministry of Defence had issued threats. Additionally, he mentioned that Buhari was not aware of intelligence reports reaching his office regarding threats during the inauguration of President Bola Tinubu.
