Andrea Usoh Praises CBN at Senior Tennis Tournament

Andrea Usoh, the defending champion of the women's singles at the 47th edition of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Senior Tennis Tournament, commended the CBN for its support of wheelchair tennis during an event in Abuja. Usoh described the CBN's actions as exemplary in promoting youth inclusion and support for physically challenged athletes.

She emphasized the need for encouragement and support for those from less privileged backgrounds in sports. Usoh expressed confidence in her ability to retain the title she won two years ago, stating that she is determined to emerge victorious despite any competition.

Vivian Ozurumba, who won a silver medal in the previous tournament, expressed her ambition to surpass her past achievements and aims to win the title this year. The tournament features various categories, including men's and women's singles, doubles, and wheelchair tennis, with matches commencing today.
