White House Excludes CNN from Trump's Tennessee Trip

The White House has prohibited CNN reporters from traveling with US President Donald Trump on his upcoming trip to Tennessee, scheduled for Saturday. This action is part of a broader effort by the Trump administration to limit access for certain news organizations, specifically targeting CNN, MS NOW, and Politico, which Trump accuses of providing negative coverage.

Following a judge's ruling that temporarily restored access to these outlets after they were barred from the White House complex, CNN was initially set to be part of the press "pool" for the trip. However, a schedule released by the White House on Friday did not include CNN or any other TV networks in the pool rotation, instead listing Lindell TV, a pro-Trump outlet run by businessman Mike Lindell.

In response to the restrictions, the top five US broadcasters—ABC, CBS, CNN, Fox, and NBC—jointly halted pool coverage of the White House, emphasizing the public's need for accurate information about the government. CNN declined to comment, and the White House did not respond to requests for comment.
