Ukeji Defends Wike's Rainbow Coalition Against APC Governors

Ben Ukeji, a political communications strategist, defended Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, regarding his establishment of the Rainbow Coalition. Ukeji criticized the Progressive Governors Forum for their negative stance on Wike's actions, asserting that Wike is not a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and is entitled to support President Bola Tinubu while advancing the interests of his party, the People's Democratic Party (PDP).

Ukeji noted that Wike's previous formation of the G5 coalition significantly contributed to Tinubu's electoral success, as it helped secure victories in states where Atiku Abubakar lost. He urged the Progressive Governors to reassess their performance and responsibilities, suggesting that their opposition to Wike is unfounded.

Ukeji described Wike as a principled politician and a strategic thinker, encouraging the governors to focus on their duties rather than being "jittery" about Wike's political maneuvers.
