Galadima Urges Atiku to Join NDC for 2027 Elections

Galadima, a chieftain of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has called on Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice President of Nigeria, to join the NDC in collaboration with other opposition leaders such as Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso. This coalition aims to unseat President Bola Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 elections.

Galadima stated that if Atiku refuses to join the NDC, he will be held responsible for any failure to unseat Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC). During an interview on Channel Television, Galadima emphasized the need for a united opposition front.

Meanwhile, there are reports regarding Atiku's potential defection from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to the NDC, which his senior special assistant on public communications has labeled as "fake news." The assistant denied claims of Atiku engaging in secret talks regarding this potential move.
