Gwarzo Resigns as Kano Deputy Governor for Stability

Mohammed Gwarzo has officially resigned from his position as the Deputy Governor of Kano State, a decision confirmed by the Kwankwasiyya Movement through its spokesperson, Ibrahim Shuaibu. The resignation is described as an act of statesmanship aimed at serving the overall interest of the people and stabilizing governance in the state.

The movement emphasized that Gwarzo's resignation should not be interpreted as an admission of guilt regarding any allegations against him. Instead, it reflects his commitment to peace and political maturity.

The Kwankwasiyya Movement plans to focus on strengthening its internal structure and political strategy in preparation for the upcoming 2027 general elections. They urge the residents of Kano to remain calm and supportive of Gwarzo, who will work on rebuilding the party framework, promoting reform, and advocating for people-oriented leadership and social justice.
