Atiku Explains PDP Exit, Blames Leadership Crisis for Party Shift

Atiku revealed that the PDP's decision to zone the 2023 presidential ticket to the North led to tensions within the party, prompting his departure.

He criticized the PDP leadership for prioritizing personal interests over party unity, claiming that he couldn't effect necessary changes. Atiku's shift to the ADC was influenced by his perception of the PDP's weakening stance against the ruling Progressives Congress (APC).
