Rangers Manager Explains Fernandez's Absence vs Dundee

Dani Röhl, the manager of Rangers, addressed the decision not to include Emmanuel Fernandez in the squad for the recent 4-2 victory over Dundee in the Scottish top flight league. Fernandez had played for Nigeria during the March international break but was left among the substitutes during the match against Dundee.

Röhl opted to play John Souttar and Nasser Djiga in defense instead. When questioned about Fernandez's absence from the starting lineup, Röhl mentioned that the team had traveled a lot and that it was Fernandez's first experience with the national team.

He noted that John Souttar was available and had returned to training, which contributed to the decision. Röhl emphasized that the choice to not feature Fernandez was not wrong, as the team had secured a win.
