Uba Sani Nominates Jerry Adams for 2027 Kaduna Election

Senator Uba Sani, the Governor of Kaduna State, has announced the nomination of Mr. Jerry Adams, the Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS), as his running mate for the 2027 governorship election.

The governor stated that this decision was made after “wide consultations, deep reflection and earnest prayers,” and serves as a reaffirmation of his administration’s commitment to inclusion, justice, fairness, and equity. Sani emphasized that the nomination transcends the mere selection of a deputy governorship candidate, reflecting the values that have guided his administration since he took office on May 29, 2023.

He noted that Kaduna's diversity is a strength and highlighted his administration's policies aimed at promoting inclusion and equitable development across the state. Sani praised Adams as an accomplished public servant and tax administrator who has transformed KADIRS into a leading revenue agency, contributing to the state's fiscal capacity and investment in critical sectors.
